Ministry Fair
"There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, but the same Lord is served. There are different abilities to perform service, but the same God gives ability to all for their particular service. On Sunday, October 28th, First Baptist will hold our first Ministry Fair. The purpose of this fellowship is two-fold: first, to celebrate the many ministry programs, service opportunities, and partnering organizations that our church supports. Second, to provide you the opportunity to learn more about specific efforts, upcoming events, and to help identify and connect you with a ministry that touches your heart.
Following morning worship, the Hospitality Committee will provide lunch in the Fellowship Hall, where you may peruse displays. Representatives will be on hand to provide information, answer questions, and share with you what the experience has meant to them. We also want to hear your suggestions about a new ministry area in which you have an interest.
Discerning how God has shaped us and finding where we are to go is a process. We need the gifts, skills, experiences, and passions of each person – and all of us together – to be the family of faith that God intends. Join us.
